On roll call <br />the following vote was recorded: <br /> <br />AYE: Brown, Farr, Younger, Guerra, Kissler, Nicola. <br /> <br />NAY: None. <br /> <br />ABSTAIN: None. <br /> <br />(Mr. Coddington did not vote on this matter). <br /> <br />Mayor Younger introduced for consideration a public hearing and adoption <br />of a Zoning Ordinance, the caption which was read as follows: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING SECTION 3 OP THAT ORDINANCE <br />WHICH REGULATES AND RESTRICTS THE LOCATION AND USE OF <br />BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES AND LAND, DATED JUNE 13, 1984 <br />(VOL. 66) BY CHANGING THE ZONING OF 1.89 ACRES, MORE <br />OR LESS, OF LAND AREA IN THE J. M. VER&~ENDI SURVEY NO. <br />1, SAN MARCOS, HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS, BEING A PORTION OF <br />THAT TRACT DESCRIBED AS 88.28 ACRES, IN A DEED PROM <br />ISOM H. HALE AND T. L. WEATHERS TO ADVENTIST HEALTH/ <br />SUNBELT, INC. DATED APRIL 20, 1981 AS RECORDED IN VOLUME <br />356, PAGE 676 OF THE HAYS COUNTY DEED RECORD, AND LO- <br />CATED ON THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF WONDER WORLD DRIVE AND <br />WEST OP HIGHWAY 123 FROM "R-l" (SINGLE-FAMILY m'V'ELLING <br />DISTRICT) TO "DP-2" (DUPLEX DISTRICT); AND DECLARING <br />AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />Mayor Younger opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished to <br />speak in favor or in opposition to the Zoning Ordinance. Patsy Greiner <br />stated the developers requested C zoning for this area but that Zoning <br />had approved DP-2 for the area. No one else wished to speak in favor <br />or in opposition to the Zoning Ordinance, so Mayor Younger closed the <br />public hearing. Mr. Guerra moved for adoption of the Zoning Ordinance <br />and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion, which passed unanimously (Mr. <br />Coddington not present to vote on this matter). <br /> <br />Mayor Younger introduced for consideration a public hearing and adoption <br />of a Zoning Ordinance, the caption which was read as follows: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, ~1ENDING SECTION 3 OF THAT ORDINANCE <br />WHICH REGULATES AND RESTRICTS THE LOCATION AND USE OF <br />BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES AND LAND, DATED JUNE 13, 1984 <br />(VOL. 66) BY CHANGING THE ZONING OF TRACT 1: LOT 4 <br />AND PART OP LOT 3, BEING PART OF THE C.
