Hopkins <br /> San Marcos, Texas 78666 <br /> RE: Mill Street Improvements <br /> Phase I II <br /> Contract Document <br /> Preparation <br /> Dear George: <br /> The purpose of this letter agreement is to outline the ammended scope of <br /> our services, as per your staffls recommendation, on the above referenced <br /> project and our compensation basis. Our scope of work will be as follows: <br /> 1. Meet with City staff once to identify any design parameter <br /> changes, including effects of peripheral drainage projects <br /> prepared by City Staff. Visually canvas project site to verify no <br /> significant physical changes since time of original survey. <br /> 2. Revise the plans to represent the remaining designed work in the <br /> Mill Street Improvements as one Unit, Phase III. <br /> 3. Prepare contract documents and construction speci fi cati ons for <br /> Phase I I I. <br /> 4. Revise the plans to show the sidewalk location on Mill Street at <br /> two (2) feet behind the back of curb and three (3) foot width. <br /> 5. Calculate unit quantities in Phase III and provide an estimate of <br /> probable construction cost. <br /> 6. Meet with the City staff once to review plans and specifications <br /> prior to bidding and address comments of the City staff. Comments <br /> will be incorporated into final plans and specifications prior to <br /> submitting to City Council for authorization to bid. Prepare all <br /> addendum necessary prior to opening of bids. <br /> 7. Coordinate the planned work in the Loop 82 right-of-way with the <br /> State Department of Highways and Public Transportation (SDH & PT) <br /> plans for improvement of Loop 82.
