Obtain SOH & PT permit for the work in the State right-of-way. <br /> 9. Print and deliver twenty five (25) sets of plans and <br /> specifications for bidding and construction to the Ci ty of San <br /> Marcos. <br /> 10. Answer questions of City Staff and prospective bidders during the <br /> bidding process. <br /> 11. Review bids received, review statements of qual ifications <br /> submitted by the bidders, and make a recommendation on award of <br /> contract. <br /> 12. Revise the ori ginal drawings to show liAs Built" changes and <br /> furnish the City one (1) Xerox reproducible copy of the liAs Built" <br /> record drawings. The City will furnish one (1) blueline copy of <br /> the drawings showing liAs Built" changes. <br /> 13. Prepare change orders during construction phase of the project. <br /> It is our understanding that the fo 11 owi ng items are excluded from our <br /> scope of work: <br /> 1. Preparation and mail out of notice to bidders. <br /> 2. Distribution of plans to bidders. <br /> 3. Newspaper advertisement. <br /> 4. Construction inspection and certification. <br /> 5. Contract execution. <br /> 6. Cost of printing additional sets of plans and specifications other <br /> than the 25 sets. <br /> 7. Design changes and plan revisions which may be required as a <br /> result of the design being prepared by the SOH & PT engineering <br /> consultant for Loop 82. <br /> 8. Any other items not specifically mentioned in our scope of work. <br /> Our compensation for this work will be on our standard cost times <br /> multiplier basis as shown on the attached Schedule of Charges. Based on <br /> our understanding of the current scope of work, we estimate our fee to be <br /> approximately $16,800.00. This amount will not be exceeded without your <br /> prior authorization. <br />
