26 Regular Meeting October 13, 1986 Page 2 Mayor Younger introduced for consideration approval of the minutes of the Special Meeting held October 6,1986. Mr. Brown moved for approval of the minutes and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Younger introduced for consideration approval of two appoint- ments to the Planning Commission. Mr. Farr moved to nominate Gene Majors, Brian Runey, Ron Hart, Eugene Rios and Aart Millecam and Mayor Younger seconded the motion. On roll call, the following vote was recorded: BROWN: FARR: YOUNGER: GUERRA: KISSLER: NICOLA: Millecam, Rios. Millecam, Rios. Majors, Runey. hart, Rios. hart, Rios. Millecam, Rios. Mr. Rios received 5 votes. No other nominations received enough votes on roll call, so a second roll call was taken and the following vote recorded: BROWN: FARR: YOUNGER: GUERRA: KISSLER: NICOLA: Millecam. Millecam. Runey. Hart. Millecam. Millecam. Mr. Millecam received 4 votes. Mr. Eugene Rios was appointed and Mr. Aart Millecam reappointed to the Planning Commission. Mayor Younger introduced for consideration two appointments to the Zoning Commission. Mr. Brown moved to nominate John Wade, George VonDe~Lippe and Merry FitzPatrick and Mayor Younger seconded the motion. On roll call the following vote was recorded: BROWN: FARR: YOUNGER: GUERRA: KISSLER: NICOLA: VonDerLippe, FitzPatrick. VonDerLippe, FitzPatrick. Wade, FitzPatrick. Wade, FitzPatrick. VonDerLippe, FitzPatrick. VonDerLippe, FitzPatrick. Mr. VonDerLippe and Ms. FitzPatrick were both reappointed to the Zoning Commission. Mayor Younger introduced for consideration approval of three appointments to the Library Board. Mr. Brown moved to reappoint Susie Erlanson (who lives out of the city limits), appoint Alice Hopkins, and appoint Judy Brown (who lives out of the city limits), and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Younger introduced for consideration approval of one appointment to the Central Texas Library System. Mr. Farr moved to appoint Nina pryatel and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Younger introduced for consideration approval of one appointment to complete a vacancy on the Senior Citizens Advisory Board. Mr. Guerra moved to appoint Len Pielder to complete the vacancy of Glenn Norris. Mr. Pielder previously served two terms on the Senior Citizens Advisory Board and went off the Board in January of 1986. Mr. Guerra stated he wanted this to be an exception to the Resolution (1981-lR) adopted by the City Council January 12, 1981 and did not want the Resolution amend- ed to make this a permanent change of the Council's policy. Mayor Younger seconded Mr. Guerra's motion, which passed unanimously.
