<br /> THE STATE OF TEXAS <br /> COUNTY OF HAYS <br /> INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS <br /> AND HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS <br /> KNOW ALL PERSONS BY THESE PRESENTS: <br /> That the City of San Marcos, Texas. a municipal <br /> corporation under the laws of the State of Texas, acting by <br /> and through the authority conferred on its Mayor, Emmie <br /> Craddock, by Resolution 1985- , adopted , <br /> 19 , hereinafter referred to as "City" and the County of <br /> Hays, Texas, hereinafter referred to as "County" hereby enter <br /> into this agreement for the mutual benefit of the parties and <br /> pursuant to the following terms and provisions: <br /> I. <br /> This agreement for the performance of governmental <br /> functions and services is entered into pursuant to authority <br /> granted by the Texas Interlocal Cooperation Act, Article 4413 <br /> (32c), Texas Revised Civil Statutes. <br /> II. <br /> The purpose of this agreement is the enforcement by <br /> City of regulations as to parking of vehicles on property <br /> owned by County. <br /> III. <br /> This agreement shall remain in effect until terminated <br /> in accordance with paragraph VIII, below. <br /> IV. <br /> It is expressly agreed that City will install, replace, <br /> repair or otherwise make usable forty-nine (49) meters on <br /> real property owned by Hays County, Texas, on which is <br /> located the Hays County Courthouse. The purpose of the <br /> meters is to limit the time a vehicle may remain parked in a <br /> specific space on the real property. Any expenses incurred <br /> in installation, replacement or repair shall be the <br /> responsibility of City. <br />
