Mr. Coddington asked if the City was going to <br />bid out insurance or go with TML, and Mr. Gonzalez stated the <br />Council had given him direction to proceed with TML in Executive Session (Mr. <br />Coddington was not present at that rœeting). On roll call the following vote was re- <br />rorded: <br /> <br />AYE: <br /> <br />Farr, Younger, Guerra, Kissler, Nicola. <br /> <br />NAY: <br /> <br />Coddington. <br /> <br />ABSTAIN: <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />Mayor Younger introduced for consideration adoption of a Resolution, <br />the caption which was read as follows: <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS RATIFYING THE CITY MANAGER'S EXECUTION <br />OF AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN SAID CITY AND PATRICK WRIGHT <br />DBA WRIGHT'S OUTDOOR AMUSEMENTS FOR ITS USE OF CITY <br />PARKLAND FOR THE CONDUCT OF A CARNIVAL, AND DECLARING <br />AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />Mayor Younger moved for adoption of the Resolution and Mr. Guerra se- <br />conded the motion. Mr. Hankins advised the Council the City Manager <br />or Parks Director should be given direction to take care of these <br />matters without Council approval. The Council voted unanimously for <br />adoption of the Resolution. <br /> <br />Mayor Younger introduced for consideration adoption of a Resolution, <br />the caption which was read as follows: <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, DETERMINING THAT CERTAIN ORIGINAL POLICE <br />DEPARTMENT RECORDS OF SAID CITY ARE WORTHLESS, DIRECTING <br />THE CITY MANAGER TO DISPOSE OF SUCH RECORDS IN A MANNER <br />CALCULATED TO DESTROY THEM IN THEIR ENTIRETY, AND DECLAR- <br />ING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />Mr. Farr moved for adoption of the Resolution and Mayor Younger seconded <br />the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Younger introduced for consideration adoption of a Resolution <br />finding that an excess of $606.10 in real property taxes was paid by <br />Jack Eure, finding said amount to be erroneous, authorizing and ap- <br />proving a refund in said amount by the Tax Collector. Mr. Hankins <br />advised the Council the Tax Office had made an error regarding the <br />amount, which is under $500.00 and does not require any Council action, <br />so the Council moved to the next item on the Agenda. <br /> <br />Mayor Younger introduced for consideration adoption of a Resolution, <br />the caption which was read as follows: <br />
