The City of San Marcos, et al. <br />Dear Mr. Hankins: <br /> This letter is to set forth our proposal to (a) represent the <br />City of San Marcos and all the individual defendants in the suit <br />styled Wilson, et ale V. The City of San Marcos, No. 14,628, in <br />the District Court of Hays County, Texas, and to (b) prosecute all <br />claims and causes of action arising out of the refusal of the <br />Republic Insurance Company to provide a defense to the City and <br />its officials in this suit or to pay any damages that may be <br />assessed against them in this suit. <br /> Work done by me or my partner, Joe K. Longley, will be billed <br />at $200.00 per hour. Work done by our associate, Mark L. Kincaid, <br />will be billed at $100.00 per hour. Work done by law clerks and <br />paralegals will be billed at $30.00 per hour. <br /> The City will also be responsible for any reasonable and <br />necessary expenses we incur in providing this representation. <br /> Bills for attorney's fees and expenses will be sent to the <br />City monthly and will be due upon receipt. <br /> If the City is in agreement with the proposal, please have an <br />authorized representative sign where indicated below and return <br />this letter to me. <br /> Please call if you have any questions. <br />PKM:bm <br />
