Call to Order and Announce a Quorum is Present <br />With a quorum present, regular meeting of the San Marcos City Council was called to order by <br />Mayor Daniel Guerrero at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 in the Council Chambers of the <br />City of San Marcos City Hall, 630 East Hopkins, San Marcos, Texas 78666. <br />3. Receive a Staff presentation and hold discussion regarding the implementation of an <br />incentive program for Downtown signage, and provide direction to Staff. <br />Matthew Lewis, Director of Development Services, provided the Council with a presentation <br />regarding the implementation of an incentive program for Downtown signage, and Council <br />provided consensus to include a phased incentive schedule over a timeline of 3 years and to <br />confer with Main Street Board concerning their current criteria. <br />4.
