<br />63 <br /> <br />Regular Meeting <br /> <br />December 8,1986 <br /> <br />Page 2 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE SAN MARCOS CODE OF ORDIN- <br />ANCES BY THE ADDITION OF A PROVISION REFERRING TO <br />SITE PLAN APPROVAL IN SECTION 11(D) (1) (c) OF APPENDIX <br />A, GENERAL ZONING ORDINANCE, AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE <br />DATE. <br /> <br />Mayor Younger opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished to <br />speak in favor or in opposition to the amendriEnt. No one did, so Mayor <br />Younger closed the public hearing. Mr. Brown moved for approval of the <br />Ordinance on first reading and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion, which <br />passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Younger introduced for consideration a public hearing and approval <br />of an Ordinance on first reading, the caption which was read as follows: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING APPENDIX C, SUBDIVISIONS, OF <br />THE SAN MARCOS CODE OF ORDINANCES, BY THE ADDITION OF <br />A PROVISION REFERRING TO APPROVAL OF A SITE PLAN, AND <br />DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />Mayor Younger opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished to <br />speak in favor or in opposition to the amendment. No one did, so Mayor <br />Younger closed the public hearing. Mr. Brown moved for approval of the <br />Ordinance on first reading and for a "y" to be added to the word City <br />in Section 3 and Mr. Farr seconded the motion. On roll call the follow- <br />ing vote was recorded: <br /> <br />AYE: <br /> <br />Brown, Farr, Younger, Kissler. <br /> <br />NAY: <br /> <br />Coddington. <br /> <br />ABSTAIN: <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />Mayor Younger introduced for consideration approval of an Ordinance <br />on first reading, the caption which was read as follows: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />~illRCOS, TEXAS, ESTABLISHING THE GENERAL AND SPECIFIC <br />AUTHORITY OF THE SAN MARCOS ELECTRIC UTILITY BOARD <br />AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />Mr. Farr moved for approval of the Ordinance on first reading and Ms. <br />Kissler seconded the motion. Mr. Coddington stated this Ordinance would <br />place control of the deposits in the hands of the Electric Board instead <br />of the Council.
