<br /> WHEREAS, on September 17,1985, the Joint Planning and
<br /> Zoning Commissions of the City of San Marcos held a public hearing
<br /> regarding a request to amend the Future Land Use Plan (Map) of the
<br /> Master Plan from Low Densi ty Residential to Commercial; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, subsequent to said public hearing on said date, said
<br /> Commissions did, on September 17,1985, consider said request and
<br /> the said ComITUssions voted to approve the SarJ:E and have recommended
<br /> tha t such request be approved by the Ci ty Council of said City, and,
<br /> WHEREAS, said City Council held a public hearing on the day
<br /> of ,1985, regarding such request; and,
<br /> vJHEREAS, all requirements of the Master Plan pertaining to
<br /> amendrœnts have been met; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, said City Council hereby finds and determines that the
<br /> adoption of the following resolution is in the interest of the public
<br /> health, morals, welfare and safety; now, therefore,
<br /> BE IT REffiLVED BY 'lliE CITY COUNCIL OF 'lliE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS:
<br /> PART 1. That the following described tract of real property
<br /> located in San Marcos, Hays County, Texas, which is in an area shown
<br /> on the Future Land Use Plan (Map) of the Master Plan of the City of San
<br /> Marcos as Low Density ,Residential shall be shown on said map as
<br /> Commercial:
<br /> BEING 7.99 ACRES OF LAND MORE OR LESS, OUT OF 'lliE J.M.

<br /> South corner of L~e said Smith 765.00 acre tract, the W=st
<br /> corner of a 0.5 acre tract of land conveyed to C.A. Hill, et ux,
