The projected wastewater demand of each entity, measured In <br /> LUEs, is divided by the total number of LUEs which the facility being <br /> constructed can serve. <br /> 1ôt)\e f> f}r-~5jent5 tt\e f)r{}i)()fUOO of e2.(J) enUtt5 U.!E demand to the total <br /> LUE demand 1n each time period These proportions are used to calculate each <br /> entity's pro rata share of the cost of constructing the faci1aies. Some <br /> facilities, such as the wastewater treatment plant, are to be utilized and <br /> paId for by al1 the entities. Other facilities, such as the 11ft station west of <br /> IH 35, WIll only serve the Rivergate MUDs and the Cay. <br /> The formulas which are used to aHocate costs to each entity are <br /> presented in Tables 7 A, 7B and 7C Letter symbols are used in these tables to <br /> represent the three entaies as follows: "A" = Rivergate MUDs; "8" = Highridge <br /> MUDs; and "C" = City of San Marcos. The tables also indicate the actual costs <br /> of each facility, allocated to each entity. <br /> Tables 8 and 9 present each enUt'{s share of the total construction <br /> costs, including 15% for contingencies and 10% for engineering. <br /> The cost estimates for each of the entities are based on planning <br /> forecasts of probable demands for wastewater service. The costs are <br /> considered prel1minary and may need to be revised as development occurs and <br /> as different portions of the Service Area develop faster than others. The <br /> €flt\t\es P2âtiÖi}.'3U5¥} ~" tt!:e cooslructioo will be responsible for flnancing <br /> their proportIonate share of the facilities as the development proceeds. <br /> -4- <br />
