ANNEXATION AREA <br /> 20.48 acres J .M. veriIœndi #l <br /> Request of San Marcos Consolidated Independent School District <br /> Pursuant to the provisions of Section 10, Article 970a, V.A.C.S., there is hereby <br /> adopted for the proposed annexation area the following plan of service: <br /> 1. Police Protection: <br /> Patrolling, response to calls and other routine police services using present <br /> personnel and equÌr:nent will be provided imnediately on the effective date of <br /> annexation. <br /> 2. Fire Protection: <br /> Fire protection by the present personnel and equipment of the Fire DepartJœnt, <br /> within the limitations of available water, will be provided inmediately on the <br /> effective date of annexation. <br /> 3. Solid Waste Collection: <br /> The City of San Marcos does not provide solid waste pickup for businesses <br /> or institutions. Arrangements for solid waste collection will have to be <br /> made with private haulers. <br /> 4. Maintenance of Water and Wastewater Facilities: <br /> The standards and policies now established and in force wi thin the City <br /> limi ts will be followed in maintaining and expanding water and wastewater <br /> facili ties in the annexed area. <br /> 5. Maintenance of Roads and Streets: <br /> The sarœ standards and policies now established and in force wi thin the City <br /> limi ts will be followed in maintaining and expanding the roads and streets <br /> in the annexed area. <br /> 6. Maintanance of Public Parks, Playgrounds, Swirrming Pools, and any other <br /> Parks and Recreation Departrænt Facility or Building which may be dedicated <br /> to the public: <br /> The same standards and policies now established and in force wi thin the <br /> City limits will be followed in maintaining and expanding public facilities. <br /> 7. Capital Improvement Projects: <br /> Capi tal improvements necessary for providing rmmicipal services to the. <br /> annexed area will be provided in accordance with the established policies <br /> of the City of San Marcos. <br />
