EXHIBIT B STATE OF TEXAS AGREEMENT FOR USE OF STREETS FOR A BICYCLE RACE COUNTY OF HAYS KNOW ALL PERSONS BY THESE PRESENTS: This Agreement made and entered into this 15 day of February, 1984, by and between the City of San Marcos, Texas, a municipal corporation of Hays County, Texas, acting by and through its Mayor, Emmie Craddock, hereinafter called City, and Frito Lay, Inc., sponsor of the Frito Lay Tour of Texas, 6103 Bull Creek, Austin, Texas, acting by and through its authorized representative, Joe Avalos, hereinafter called Frito Lay. WITNESSETH: 1. That the City agrees to permit certain streets to be blocked off and used for a bicycle race as part of the Frito Lay Tour of Texas on March 4, 1984, from one o'clock p.m. until five o'clock p.m. as designated on the map attached hereto and marked "Exhibi t A". 2. In exchange for this permission, Frito Lay agrees as follows: (a) To clean up the streets designated on Exhibit A on or before noon, March 5, 1984, having said streets in as clean a condition as they were before the bicycle race as determine~" by the City Chief of Police; ,/v ':;:;/)0 ' To deposit with the City the sum of $.2's-e-cr 0 /'t ~ (b) = ~fu~ f~ o'c~ct p.m., F~~ry 22, 1984,- as security for the cleanup required above; (c) To pay the entire costs of all off-duty law enforcement officers and emergency medical services needed to conduct the event, as determined by the Chief of Police of the City; (d) To indemnify and hold harmless the City from all liabilities, direct or indirect, arising from or attributed to said bicycle race; (e) To abide by any decisions of the City Chief of Police or his designee in regard to routes of the said bicycle race, crowd control, barricade locations, and any other matters that affect the well-being of the City and its inhabitants;
