<br /> EXHIBIT B <br />STATE OF TEXAS <br /> AGREEMENT FOR USE OF STREETS <br /> FOR A BICYCLE RACE <br />COUNTY OF HAYS <br />KNOW ALL PERSONS BY THESE PRESENTS: <br />This Agreement made and entered into this 15 day of <br />February, 1984, by and between the City of San Marcos, Texas, <br />a municipal corporation of Hays County, Texas, acting by and <br />through its Mayor, Emmie Craddock, hereinafter called City, and <br />Frito Lay, Inc., sponsor of the Frito Lay Tour of Texas, 6103 <br />Bull Creek, Austin, Texas, acting by and through its authorized <br />representative, Joe Avalos, hereinafter called Frito Lay. <br /> WITNESSETH: <br />1. That the City agrees to permit certain streets to be <br />blocked off and used for a bicycle race as part of the Frito Lay <br />Tour of Texas on March 4, 1984, from one o'clock p.m. until five <br />o'clock p.m. as designated on the map attached hereto and marked <br />"Exhibi t A". <br />2. In exchange for this permission, Frito Lay agrees as <br />follows: <br /> (a) To clean up the streets designated on Exhibit <br /> A on or before noon, March 5, 1984, having <br /> said streets in as clean a condition as they <br /> were before the bicycle race as determine~" <br /> by the City Chief of Police; ,/v <br /> ':;:;/)0 ' <br /> To deposit with the City the sum of $.2's-e-cr 0 /'t ~ <br /> (b) = ~fu~ f~ o'c~ct p.m., F~~ry 22, 1984,- <br /> as security for the cleanup required above; <br /> (c) To pay the entire costs of all off-duty law <br /> enforcement officers and emergency medical services <br /> needed to conduct the event, as determined <br /> by the Chief of Police of the City; <br /> (d) To indemnify and hold harmless the City from <br /> all liabilities, direct or indirect, arising <br /> from or attributed to said bicycle race; <br /> (e) To abide by any decisions of the City Chief <br /> of Police or his designee in regard to routes <br /> of the said bicycle race, crowd control, barricade <br /> locations, and any other matters that affect <br /> the well-being of the City and its inhabitants; <br />
