-2- ( f) To provide all barricades or other items of equipment needed to properly close off the streets designated on Exhibit A, as determined by the City Chief of Police. 3. The City agrees as follows: (a) To exercise ordinary care in the conduct of its business by and through its employees and agents; (b) To require only normal, customary, and ordinary standards of cleanliness in regards to its streets, sidewalks and other public property used by Frito Lay and the ~s attracted to said bicycle race; " /. , C' (c) To return the ~~: epo i~ ~equired herein within seventy-two (72) hours of termination of this contract or of the conclusion of the said bicycle race whichever comes first, provided that the Chief of Police has certified that the streets were cleaned to proper specifications; (d) In the event that the streets are not cleaned to proper specifications within the time limits provided herein, the City will return the ~-O deposit less any reasonable charges made to Frito Lay by the City for clean-up work. 4. The parties hereto agree: (a) That this contract may be terminated by either party by giving written notice to the other party at least seventy-two (72) hours before the time of termination; (b) That no amendments to this contract can be made except by written agreement of both parties. 5. The parties agree that this contract will take effect when it lS signed by the authorized representative of Frito Lay and by the Mayor of the City upon adoption of a resolution approving said contract by a majority of the City Council.
