<br /> -5- <br /> As for the requirement to have a copy of the Future <br /> Terminal Area Plan, see Attachment #2. <br /> 10. The City of San Marcos is prepared to develop the land <br /> in aviation and aviation related facilities when it <br /> becomes certain that the land will be conveyed. The <br /> City is receiving an increasing number of inquiries from <br /> interested corporations and developers who would be able <br /> to provide the necessary financial and technical <br /> resources to develop the property. <br /> 11. The property is needed in the immediate future, not <br /> later than the Spring of 1984. <br /> 12. The following projects are underway or have applications <br /> for aid pending under the Airport Improvement Program <br /> (AlP) : <br /> 1. Replacement of shattered slabs and overlay portion <br /> of apron. <br /> 2. New parallel taxiway to runway 12-30. <br /> 3. Auto parking lot and miscellaneous drainage. <br /> 4. Relocation of airport access road. <br /> 5. Overlay of existing runways and taxiways. <br /> 6. Installation of visual approach slope indicators <br /> (VASI) on runways 12-30 and 17-35. <br /> 7. Development of new T-hangar areas. <br /> 8. Development of Industrial areas. <br /> 9. Acquisition of land for clear zones and approach <br /> lights. <br /> 13. The City of San Marcos does have the legal authority to <br /> accept the conveyance, and will abide by the assurances <br /> and covenants required under the conveyance, and <br /> particularly in accordance with the requirements of FAR <br /> Part 154, Section 154.13. <br /> 14. A draft Environmental Impact Assessment will be prepared <br /> in accordance with applicable DOT and F.A.A. <br /> requirements. <br /> 15. If the conveyance displaces any person or the <br /> inquisition of an interest in real property that is <br /> within the peripheral of the Uniform Relocation <br /> Assistance and Real Property Acquisition policy Act of <br /> 1970 (URARPAPA), the City will make the assurances <br /> required by sections 25.57 (a) (and 25.59 (a» of <br /> regulations of the office of the Secretary of <br /> Transportation (49 CFR 25). <br />
