<br /> -3- <br /> contribution through their homes, their jobs, <br /> their participation in community life, and to <br /> take responsibility for strengthening existing <br /> services, and assisting in pursuing needed <br /> services, whether it be by commercial, <br /> cooperative, or voluntary agencies, or as a <br /> public service; <br /> stimulate an awareness among both men and women <br /> in the public and private sector of the full <br /> potential of minorities and of the importance of <br /> their contribution to the development of the <br /> community; <br /> Sec. 2-134. Cooperation with citizens, <br /> agencies, etc. <br /> The Commission For Minorities shall at all times <br /> seek to promote close cooperation between the <br /> City and all private citizens, institutions and <br /> agencies interested in or conducting programs <br /> wh i c h aid minorities, to the end that all such <br /> activities within the City may be coordinated to <br /> secure the greatest public welfare. <br /> SECTION 2.
