<br /> 58 <br />Regular Meeting January 14, 1985 Page 15 <br />Ms. Kissler moved the Council convene at 12:16 and Mr. Coddington <br />seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of further action <br />to implement the LWFW Management Study. The City Manager gave a report <br />on the status as follows: the City would be approving and selecting <br />an Assistant City Manager, we were looking for a manager for Data <br />Processing, regarding the facilities, a mobile unit is in the process <br />of being set up, this Spring we would select an architect for the Public <br />Works Complex and changes needed in City Hall, the engineers had been <br />hired, Dan Gibson, Senior Planner in the Planning Department has been <br />on board for one week, a work management system for Public Works and <br />Engineering proposal will be presented at the next Council meeting, <br />the City is working on a Director and additional studies needed in the <br />Personnel Department, the personnel changes have been made in the realign- <br />ment of the Streets Department, the Parks changes have been made and a <br />work program will be presented in a month. <br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration 1984-1985 compensation ad- <br />justments for the Council appointed positions. Mr. Coddington moved <br />to set the City Manager's salary at $47,000 annually, the City Attorney's <br />salary at $41,000 annually, the City Secretary's salary at $24,000 <br />annually, all to be retroactive to October 1, 1984, and the Municipal <br />Court Judge and Associate Municipal Court Judge's salaries to remain <br />the same but authorized the new clerical position requested in the <br />budget process and an upgrading of the warrant officer's salary from <br />that approved in the budget process ($5.09 per hour, $11,550 through <br />September for Clerk¡ $8.50 per hour, $18,700 through September for <br />Warrant Officer - was budgeted at $5.00 per hour).
