the west corner of the tract of land hereby conveyed; thence on a line that is perpendicular to the said south boundary line of Knox street eighty three (83) feet to the point of intersection with the North boundary line of Stilwell street for the most southern corner of the tract of land hereby conveyed, which corner is also the most eastern corner of an adjoining tract of land sold to Fernando Vasquez and Mrs. Julia G. Vasquez; thence along said north boundary line of said Stilwell Street to the point of beginning. also known as Urban Renewal Parcel No. 32R-l, to Lee Swift are hereby approved. SECTION 2. That the consideration of three thousand SlX hundred and five dollars ($3,605.00) for said property be, and the same is hereby, approved. SECTION 3. That the purchaser is hereby placed on notice that the subject property lS subject to assessment under the provisions of Article 1105b, Texas Revised civil Statutes. SECTION 4. That ,the Mayor of the City of San Marcos, Texas, Emmie Craddock, be, and she is hereby, authorized to execute a warranty deed to Lee Swift from the City of San Marcos for said property. SECTION 5. That the importance of this Ordinance creates an emergency and an imperative public necessity so that the provisions of the charter requiring that ordinances shall be read at three separate meetings and that no ordinance shall become effective until the expiration of ten (10) days following the date of its final passage be suspended, and these provisions are hereby suspended, and this Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after its adoption and publication in a newspaper of general circulation within the City.
