FOR THE PROVISION TO SAID <br />CITY OF PROFESSIONAL SERVICES IN CONNECTION WITH.:,AN <br />UPDATE OF THE MASTER PLAN FOR THE SAN MARCOS MUNICIPAL <br />AIRPORT¡ APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF A PRO- <br />POSED CONTRßCT BETWEEN SAID CITY AND CHARLES WILLIS <br />AND ASSOCIATES, INC.¡ AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE <br />SAID CONTRACT ON BEHALF OF SAID CITY¡ AND DECLARING <br />AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />Mr. Coddington moved for adoption of the Resolution and Ms. Kissler <br />seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration adoption of a Resolution, <br />the caption which was read as follows: <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, ACCEPTING A GRANT FROM THE FEDERAL <br />AVIATION ADMINISTRATION FOR AN AIRPORT PROJECT CONSIST- <br />IKG OF A MASTER PLAN STUDY UPDATE FOR THE SAN MARCOS <br />MUNICIPAL AIRPORT; AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE <br />THE GRANT AGREEMENT WITH THE FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINI- <br />STRATION AND ANY AND ALL DOCUMENTS AND INSTRUMENTS IN- <br />CIDENT THERETO¡ AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />Mr. Guerra moved for adoption of the Resolution and Ms. Kissler second- <br />ed the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration adoption of a Resolution, <br />the caption which was read as follows: <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCQS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING AND APPROVING THE PAYMENT <br />OF $5,092.00 TO AAA FLEXIBLE PIPE CLEANING COMPANY <br />FOR STRINGING AND VIDEOTAPING SANITARY SEWER MAINS <br />ON SESSOM DRIVE AND HUTCHISON STREET; AND DECLARING <br />AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock moved for adoption of the Resolution and Ms. Kissler <br />seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval to authorize <br />bidding of a sewer vacuum cleaner (trailer mounted) for the Water/ <br />Wastewater Department. Mr. Farr moved for authorization to bid <br />and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration award of bid of the Fish <br />Hatchery Building and award of bid on the Park Patrol Building/Parks <br />and Recreation Office Building. Jeff Kester reviewed the bid tabulations <br />with the Council with the options. The bids on these projects exceeded <br />the budgeted amounts and Mr. Gonzalez also advised the Council there <br />would be additional expenses of approximately $20,000 for office <br />furniture, telephone equipment, etc. for the Rio Vista Parks Office. <br />Mr. Coddington moved to award bid as outlined in the attached recommen- <br />dation on award of bids dated January 21, 1985 to the Council from Rodney <br />Cobb (Recommendations I and 2) and Mayor Craddock seconded the motion, <br />which passed unanimously. The Council directed that alternatives for <br />payment of these projects be presented to the Council at the next meet- <br />ing (February 4, 1985). <br />
