In addition to <br /> organizing Neightorhood Watch programs, the, coordinator will assist in the <br /> education of in~viduai residents in crime prevention procedures. Through <br /> contact with the neighborhood associations, business and civic groups, and by <br /> advertising in the localrn...odia, the increased awareness will provide a more <br /> personal atmosphere that will be uninterrrupted by the feelings of frustration <br /> and anger that nonttally accanpany vicitimization and make positive productive <br /> ccrmn.mication difficult. <br /> By infonning and educating citizens, the departments patrol force can be <br /> supplemented with new eyes and ears within the cofcffiunity to detect CrL'l1e <br /> wherever it might be. <br /> b.
