<br />WHICH DETERMINED APPROPRIATIONS FOR REVENUE SHARING
<br />ENTITLEMENT NO. 13; AMENDING ORDINANCE 1982-4~
<br />WHICH DETERMINED APPROPRIATIONS FOR REVENUE SHARIN~
<br />ENTITLEMENT NO. 14; AMENDING ORDINANCE 1983-4~
<br />ADOPTED SEP'rEMBER 12, 1983 WHICH SET FORTH AIO
<br />ITEMIZED ESTIMATE OF THE EXPENSE OF CONDUCTING EAC~
<br />ADMINISTRATIVE UNIT OF THE MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT OF
<br />SAID CITY FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1,
<br />1983, AND ENDING ON SEPTEMBER 30, 1984, AND
<br />. APPROPRIATED MONEY FOR THE VARIOUS FUNDS AND
<br />PURPOSES OF SUCH ESTIMATE; TO REVISE SAID ESTIMATES
<br />AND TO REAPPROPRIATE SAID FUNDS; TO PERMIT CERTAIN
<br />LINE ITEM>' ADJUSTMENTS WITHIN ADMINIsrrRATIVE UNIT
<br />APPROPRIATIONS AS PROVIDED IN SECTION 8.17 OF THE
<br />CHARTER; ADOPTING SAID REVISIONS AND ESTIMATES AND
<br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.

<br />
<br />WHEREAS, after publication of notice on August 5,
<br />City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas,
<br />ic hearing on August 15, 1983, on the budget propos
<br />City Manager for said City for the fiscal year beginning
<br />October 1, 1983; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, at said public hearing all interested persons
<br />were given an opportunity to be heard for or against any item
<br />or the amount of any item therein contained; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, public hearings to consider proposed uses of
<br />Revenue Sharing Entitlement No. 15 funds were held on August
<br />1, 1983, and August 15, 1983; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, after said public hearings, the City Council of
<br />the City of San Marcos, Texas, adopted the budget for said
<br />City for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 1983, and
<br />ending on September 30, 1984, on September 12, 1983; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, said budget set forth itemized estimates of the
<br />expense of conducting the San Marcos municipal goverrunent for
<br />said fiscal year and appropriated money for the various funds
<br />and purposes of such estimate; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, after notice and public hearing, on September
<br />8, 1980, the City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas,
<br />by Ordinance 1980-37 adopted the budget for said City for the
<br />fiscal year beginning October 1, 1980, and ending on
<br />September 30, 1981; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, said budget determined appropriations for funds
<br />received as Revenue Sharing Entitlement No. 12; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, said City Council finds and determines that a
<br />public necessity exists which requires reappropriation of the
<br />funds from Revenue Sharing Entitlement No. 12; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, after notice and public hearing, on September
<br />8, 1981, the City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas,
<br />by Ordinance 1981-70 adopted the budget for said City for the
<br />fiscal year beginning October 1, 1981, and ending on
<br />September 30, 1982; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, said budget determined appropriations for funds
<br />received as Revenue Sharing Entitlement No. 13; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, said City Council finds and determines that a
<br />public necessity exists which requires reappropriation of the
<br />funds from Revenue Sharing Entitlement No. 13; and,
<br />
<br />
