Present <br />Mayor Daniel Guerrero <br />Council: <br />Shane Scott <br />Jude Prather <br />John Thomaides <br />Lisa Prewitt <br />Ryan Thomason *absent, due to business travel <br />Wayne Becak <br />City Staff: <br />Jared Miller, City Manager <br />Collette Jamison, Assistant City Manager <br />Steve Parker, Assistant City Manager <br />Michael Cosentino, City Attorney <br />Jamie Lee Pettijohn, City Clerk <br />Holley Garcia, Executive Assistant — City Manager's Office <br />3. 5:30PM Executive Session in accordance with Section $551.072 of the Texas <br />Government Code - Real Property: to deliberate the acquisition of real property located <br />at 777 East Hopkins for the S.H. 80 intersection improvements project which is the <br />subiect of a pending eminent domain proceeding in a case styled, State of Texas v. <br />Lumberton Investments, Ltd., Cause No. 13 -0588- in Hays County Court at Law No. 1; <br />and in accordance with Section X551.087 of the Texas Government Code - Economic <br />Development: to deliberate possible incentives to induce Project Red River to locate its <br />operations in San Marcos, Texas. <br />MOTION: Upon a motion made by Council Member Scott, and a second by Council Member <br />Prather, the City Council voted six (6) for, none (0) opposed, and one (1) absent, Council <br />Member Thomason, to enter closed session. The motion carried. <br />4. Consider adoption or direction to Staff on matters discussed in Executive Session. <br />MOTION: Upon a motion made by Council Member Prather, and a second by Council Member <br />Becak, the City Council voted six (6) for and none (0) opposed, and one (1) absent, Council <br />
