14.Consider approval of Resolution 2014 -13R, authorizing the submission of an application to the Office of the Governor, Criminal Justice Division for a Justice Assistance Program Grant in an amount up to $80,000.00 to fund the purchase of Automatic License Plate Recognition Equipment for Police Vehicles; authorizing the commitment and expenditure of matching funds from the City in the amount of 20 percent of the grant or $16,000.00; providing an assurance to refund grant funds in the event of loss or misuse; authorizing the City Manager or his designee to execute any and all documents as necessary to accept and implement the grant, if awarded; and declaring an effective date. 15.Consider approval of Resolution 2014 -14R, approving Amendment No. 1 to the Interlocal Agreement between the City and the South Central Planning and Development Commission for the provision of a Permitting and Code Enforcement Software System; authorizing the City Manager or his designee to execute this Amendment No. 1 on behalf of the City; and declaring an effective date. 16.Consider approval of Resolution 2014 -15R, approving the purchase of ten 2014 Chevrolet Caprices (PPV) for the Police Department in the total amount of $290,880.00 from Caldwell Country Chevrolet through the Texas Local Government Purchasing Cooperative Buyboard Contract for Vehicles, Heavy Duty Trucks and Options (Contract #430 -13); authorizing the Purchasing Manager to execute the appropriate purchasing documents on behalf of the City and declaring an effective date. 17.Consider approval of Resolution 2014 -16R, awarding an annual contract to Townsend Tree Service Company, LLC d /b /a National Tree Expert Company for Tree Trimming Services in the estimated annual amount of $345,280.00 contingent upon the bidder's timely submission of sufficient insurance in accordance with the City's bid documents; authorizing the Purchasing Manager to execute the appropriate purchasing documents on behalf of the City; and declaring an effective date. 18.Consider approval of Resolution 2014 -17R, approving an agreement between the City and Burgess & Niple, Inc. for the provision of professional engineering services in connection with the Basin 5 SSES Repairs Project in the total amount of $56,656.90 which includes an increase of $23,640.90 above the previous contract amount of $33,016.00; ratifying the City Manager's execution of this agreement on behalf of the City; authorizing the City Manager or his designee to execute authorization of Change in Services No. 1 on behalf of the City and declaring an effective date. 19.Consider approval of Resolution 2014 -18R, awarding a construction contract to Smith Contracting Company, Inc. for the Cheatham and Riverside Drainage and Pavement Improvements Project in the bid amount of $772,891.90 contingent upon the bidder's timely submission of sufficient bonds and insurance in accordance with the City's bid documents for the project; authorizing the City Manager or his designee to execute the contract documents on behalf of the City and declaring an effective date.
