31 RESOLUTION 1984~48R A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS AUTHORIZING AND APPROVING THE TRANSFER OF THE FUNCTIONS, DUTIES AND RES- PONSIBILITIES OF THE DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT OF SAID CITY; APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF A PROPOSED MANAGEMENT AGREE- MENT BETWEEN SAID CITY AND THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS FOR THE CONDUCT OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES BY SAID HOUSING AUTHORITY; AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF SAID CITY TO EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas and the Housing Authority of the City of San Marcos, Texas desire that all Community Development activities shall be conducted by said Housing Authority; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: PART 1. That the transfer of the functions, duties and responsibilities of the Department of Community Development of said City to the Housing Authority of the City of San Marcos, Texas is hereby authorized and approved. PART 2. That the terms and conditions of a proposed Management Agreement between said City and said Housing Authority for the conduct of Community Development activities by said Housing Authority, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein for all purposes, are hereby approved. PART 3. That the Mayor of said City, Emmie Craddock, be, and she is hereby, authorized to execute said Agreement on behalf of said City in the form attached hereto and incorporated herein for all purposes.
