MARCOS S'rNfE OF 'TEXAS COUNTY OF HAYS COMMUNrrry DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMEN'r AGREEMEN'r On this the 30 day of May , 1984, the City of San ì\1arcos, Texas, a municipal corporation existing by and under the laws of the State of Texas, and acting by authority conferred on its Mayor, Emmie Craddock, by resolution duly adopted on May 29, 1984 , her:eina fter referred to as "City", and the Housing Authority of the City of San Marcos, Texas, a public body corporate and politic created by the Texas Housing Authorities Law, Article 1269k, Texas Revised Civil Statutes, acting by authority conferred on Elmer Good, Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Housing Authority of the City of San Marcos, by resolution duly adopted on June 28, 1984 , hereinafter referred to as "Authority", in consideration of the mutual covenants hereinafter set forth, hereby enter into a Management Agreement for the transfer of the functions, duties and responsibilities of the Department of Community Development of the City of San Marcos from City to Authority on the following terms and conditions: 1. City and Authority agree that all Community Development activities and/or programs capable of being conducted by City or Authority shall, subsequent to the effective date of this Agreement, be conducted by Authority. Authority hereby agrees to prepare and file any application required by any local, state or federal governmental agency as a prerequisite to the determination of eligibility for funding. Any application so prepared shall be completed and submitted in timely fashion, shall be of a quality that should be ordinarily and reasonably expected by the City of such an application by a professional or professionals l.n the field of Community Development, and shall be in conformity with all local, state and federal rules and regulations and with applicable state and federal statutory and constitutional law.
