MARCOS <br /> S'rNfE OF 'TEXAS <br /> COUNTY OF HAYS <br /> COMMUNrrry DEVELOPMENT <br /> MANAGEMEN'r AGREEMEN'r <br /> On this the 30 day of May , 1984, the City of San ì\1arcos, <br /> Texas, a municipal corporation existing by and under the laws of the <br /> State of Texas, and acting by authority conferred on its Mayor, Emmie <br /> Craddock, by resolution duly adopted on May 29, 1984 , her:eina fter <br /> referred to as "City", and the Housing Authority of the City of San <br /> Marcos, Texas, a public body corporate and politic created by the Texas <br /> Housing Authorities Law, Article 1269k, Texas Revised Civil Statutes, <br /> acting by authority conferred on Elmer Good, Chairman of the Board of <br /> Commissioners of the Housing Authority of the City of San Marcos, by <br /> resolution duly adopted on June 28, 1984 , hereinafter referred to <br /> as "Authority", in consideration of the mutual covenants hereinafter <br /> set forth, hereby enter into a Management Agreement for the transfer of <br /> the functions, duties and responsibilities of the Department of <br /> Community Development of the City of San Marcos from City to Authority <br /> on the following terms and conditions: <br /> 1. <br /> City and Authority agree that all Community Development activities <br /> and/or programs capable of being conducted by City or Authority shall, <br /> subsequent to the effective date of this Agreement, be conducted by <br /> Authority. Authority hereby agrees to prepare and file any application <br /> required by any local, state or federal governmental agency as a <br /> prerequisite to the determination of eligibility for funding. Any <br /> application so prepared shall be completed and submitted in timely <br /> fashion, shall be of a quality that should be ordinarily and reasonably <br /> expected by the City of such an application by a professional or <br /> professionals l.n the field of Community Development, and shall be in <br /> conformity with all local, state and federal rules and regulations and <br /> with applicable state and federal statutory and constitutional law. <br />
