Operational understand~ngs are: <br /> <br />1) Each request will be considered by Council on first come <br />first serve basis; and, <br /> <br />2) It allocated by City Council, the reservation represents <br />a commitment for future capacity for SlX (6) years; <br />provided however, the certificates of occupancy will not <br />be issued to the subject reservation holder (no sewerage <br />hookup will be installed) until the anticipated <br />additional capacity 1S on-line and that the capacity is <br />sufficient to handle all other commitments 'granted by <br />Council before the subject reservation holder received <br />his approval. <br /> <br />3) Building permits can be issued before permanent <br />improvements are on-line provided it is clear applicant <br />cannot obtain certificates of occupancy until permanent <br />improvements are on-line. <br /> <br />3. Interinl Capacity (Package Plant Option): <br /> <br />A. The possibility exists to develop a small package plant; cost <br />estimate between $.80 to $1.50 per gallon; plants can be <br />purchased to handle 50,000 to l million gallons per day. <br /> <br />B. Applicants might be directed to pay cost up front <br />(approximately ~350 per LUE) plus the normal LUE charge with <br />the understanding that hookup is made when package plant is <br />on-line. <br /> <br />C. Package Plant could be relocated at some future time to <br />assist in handling development in other drainage basins. <br /> <br />D. possible Policies Regarding Interim Plant Capacity: <br /> <br />1) All multifamily (attached housing) and large (over 5 <br />LUE's per project) commercial and industrial applicants <br />~. - might be directed to use package plant capacity leaving <br />.../ )Jþ") exis~ir~g caI?aci ty f,?r sin~le family a~d small commercial <br />\.', - ~ and 1naustrlal.
