O-P Office Professional District. <br /> A. Purpose: The Office Professional District is <br /> established for the following purposes: <br /> 1. To create a district that will not create <br /> excessive amounts of traffic and may be located <br /> on streets with potential congestion problems. <br /> 3. To create a district with commercial uses of <br /> a nature that will not have a blighting effect <br /> on adjacent residential areas, and may not be <br /> suitable for shallow depth lots along major <br /> thoroughfares when developed in accordance with <br /> the Master Plan. <br /> 4. To protect against fire and explosions, pollution, <br /> and other environmental hazards. <br /> 5. To protect, as far as possible, against congestion. <br /> 6. To promote the most desirable uses of land and <br /> the direction of building development in accord <br /> with the Master Plan. <br />
