-6- conviction shall be fined an amount not less than two hundred dollars ($200.00) nor more than one thousand dollars ($1,000.00). Each day that such violation continues shall constitute a separate offense. Prosecution or conviction under this provision shall never be a bar to any other remedy or relief for violations of this chapter. SECTION 15. That Appendix F, Interim Drainage and Erosion Control Ordinance, of the Code of Ordinances of the City San Marcos, Texas be amended by renumbering the following sections as indicated and by adding a new section as indicated below: Section 15 is renumbered to Section 16 Section 16 is renumbered to Section 17 Section 17 is renumbered to Section 18 Section 18 is renumbered to Section 19 SECTION 15: Promulgation of standards, regulations, and guidelines. The City Engineer for the City of San Marcos is authorized to promulgate standards, regulations and guidelines to implement this Ordinance. Said standards, regulations and guidelines shall be a public record and available for purchase by the public at cost. SECTION 16. That Appendix F, Interim Drainage and Erosion Control Ordinance, of the Code of Ordinances of the City of San Marcos, Texas be amended by substituting the words "City Engineer" for the words "Director of Public Works" "or Director" wherever those words appear in the Ordinance. SECTION 17. That this Ordinance shall be in effect ten (10) days from and after its passage and after its publication in a newspaper of general circulation in the area.
