<br /> ARTICLE III. FIRE PREVENTION CODE*
<br /> Sec. 10-33, Adopted.
<br /> There is hereby adopted bJ' the City of San Marcos, Texas, for
<br /> the purpose of establishing rules and regulati~ p,s governing
<br /> such things as fire wades, fire protection equipment, flammable
<br /> finishings, flammable combustible liquids, use of insecticides,
<br /> hazardous chemicals, liquefied petroleum gases, etc., that cer-
<br /> tain fire prevention code of the American Insurance Associa-
<br /> tion, known as the "Fire Prevention Code," 1970 Edition, there-
<br /> of, now and as hereinaft\i'r amended, of which a copy of said
<br /> code has been and is now filed in the office of the city secre-
<br /> tary of the City of San Marcos, and the same is hereby adopted
<br /> and incorporated as fu1lJ' as if set out fu1l length herein, and
<br /> from the date on which t}1is section shall take effect, the pro-
<br /> visions t}lereof shall be controlling in the aforementioned speci-
<br /> fications, rnaterials, and methods "\vithin the corporate Emits of
<br /> the City of San Marcos, Texas, and its extraterritorial .ì uri5dic-
