12 RESOLUTION 1984-58R A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THAT AGREEMENT OF SEPTEMBER 12, 1983 BET- WEEN SAID CITY AND THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH FOR SERVICES PURSUANT TO THE SPECIAL SUPPLEMENTAL FOOD PROGRAM FOR WOMEN, INFANTS AND CHILDREN (WIC); AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OF SAID CITY TO EXECUTE SAID AMENDED AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF SAID CITY IN THE FORM ATTACHED HERETO AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, On September 12, 1983 the City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas, executed an Agreement to continue its participation in the Special Supplemental Food Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC) of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) which provides food and nutritional information to qualified participants; and, WHEREAS, it is necessary that said Agreement be amended; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: PART 1. That the Agreement of September 12, 1983 between the City of San Marcos, Texas', and the Texas Department of Heálth for services pursuant to the Special Supplemental Food Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC) of the United States Department of Agriculture be amended, a copy of which amended Agreement is attached hereto and incorporated herein for all intents and purposes, and such amended Agreement is hereby approved in all respects. PART 2. That the City Manager of said City, A.C. Gonzalez, be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute said amended Agreement on behalf of said City in the form attached hereto and incorporated herein for all purposes. PART 3.
