Field surveys for construction purposes which generally include the layout of structures, pipelines, roadways, quantity and measurement deter- minations and surveys required to establish location of land bound- aries and corners. The CONSULTANT shall establish the scope of said surveys as set forth in Article 2, paragraph 2.2.6. 6.5 Acquire all land and rights-of-way required for the PROJECT and related off-site work, if any. 6.6 Respond promptly in writing to requests by the CONSULTANT for authorization to proceed with specific activities deemed desirable by OWNER. 6.7 The OWNER agrees to require a provision in the construction contract documents to the effect that the contractor will hold harm- less the CONSULTANT and his assigns for the acts of employees or y'epresentati ves of the OWNER and contractor. Further, the OWNER agrees to requi re the contractor to obtain contractor's liability lnsurance, with the OWNER and CONSULTANT named as insured in the policy. ARTICLE 7 SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS 7.1 OWNERSHIP OF DOCUMENTS 7.1.1 After completion of the PROJECT the original drawings, as modified to show construction, will be delivered to the OWNER, and will become the OWNER'S property. OWNER will have unrestricted use of the Airport Layout Plan, without CONSULTANT'S permission. ARTICLE 8 CONTROL BY OWNER 8.1.1 It is understood and agreed that the OWNER shall have complete control of the services to be rendered, and that no work shall be done under this contract until the CONSULTANT is instructed in writing to proceed with the work, except that the execution of this contract shall serve as authority to proceed with the work included in Phase 1. 8.1.2 It is also understood that the CONSULTANT wi 11 not furnish construction line and grade surveys unless the OWNER so in- structs the CONSULTANT in writing to do so in accordance with Article 4, Paragraph 4.2.2.
