<br />35 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Regular Meeting March 25, 1985 Page 10 <br /> <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration adoption of a Resolution, <br />the caption which was read as follows: <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF <br />A PROPOSED ADDENDUM TO THAT INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT BE- <br />TWEEN THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS AND THE SAN MARCOS <br />CONSOLIDATED INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT ENTERED INTO <br />AS OF OCTOBER 15/ 1984, TO PROVIDE FOR VARIANCES TO <br />CERTAIN PLATTING, ZONING, BUILDING AND SITE-DEVELOPMENT <br />PROCEDURES BUT NOT PROVIDING FOR VARIANCES TO ANY SUBSTAN- <br />TIVE REQUIREMENTS OF SAID RULES AND REGULATIONS; AUTHORIZ- <br />ING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF SAID <br />CITY AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />Mr. Farr moved for adoption of the Resolution and Mayor Craddock seconded <br />the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration adoption of a Resolution, <br />the caption which was read as follows: <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF <br />A PROPOSED CONTRACT FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES BETWEEN <br />SAID CITY AND BLACK & VEATCH, ENGINEERS-ARCHITECTS OF <br />DALLAS, TEXAS, IN CONNECTION WITH THE PERFORMANCE OF <br />A WASTEWATER SYSTEM ANALYSIS; AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR <br />OF SAID CITY TO EXECUTE SAID CONTRACT AND ANY AND ALL <br />OTHER DOCUMENTS AND INSTRUMENTS INCIDENT THERETO; AND <br />DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />Mr. Guerra moved for adoption of the Resolution and Mayor Craddock <br />seconded the motion. George Boeker said the Black & Veatch proposal <br />would allow the City to take over the wastewater system analysis in <br />the future if the City had the equipment to do so. Glenn Dotie and <br />Gary Talmadge of Black & Veatch were present to address the Council. <br />Basically what the City would be obtaining is a Master Plan of our <br />system. Mr. Dobie said his company would take a blend of commercial <br />proposals and adapt it to meet the sewer system needs of our City. He <br />said they would have no problem in handling this program and putting <br />it on our hardware. Mr. Boeker said the maximum payment to Black & <br />Veatch for Phase 1 would be $21,000.00. The Council voted unanimously <br />for adoption of the Resolution. <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock introduced ~or consideration adoption of a Resolution, <br />the caption which was read as follows: <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF <br />A PROPOSED PIPE LINE LICENSE AGREEMENT BETWEEN SAID <br />CITY AND THE MISSOURI PACIFIC RAILROAD COMPANY FOR <br />THE INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE OF A FIFTEEN INCH <br />(1511) SANITARY SEWER LINE IN SAID CITY AND UPON RAIL- <br />ROAD COMPANY RIGHT-OF-WAY AT MILE POST 210.6, ENGINEER'S <br />CHAINAGE STATION 11224+62; AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO <br />EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT AND ANY AND ALL OTHER DOCUMENTS <br />AND INSTRUMENTS INCIDENT THERETO; AND DECLARING AN EF- <br />FECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />Mr. Farr moved for adoption of the Resolution and Mayor Craddock second- <br />ed the motion, which passed unanimously. <br />
