<br /> -5- <br /> CRFN= CRF times LUE. <br /> Section 30-44 1/2. Charge for New <br /> Construction by Low Income <br /> Persons and Families <br /> A Capital Recovery Fee equal to 1.0% of the fair <br /> market value of improvements to be constructed <br /> as per the building and/or plumbing permit <br /> application shall be paid for new improvements <br /> on any single-family dwelling unit located in <br /> the City of San Marcos and owned by a person, <br /> persons, family or families who would qualify <br /> for assistance under the rules, regulations or <br /> guidelines promulgated or used by Community <br /> Action, Inc. of Hays, Caldwell and Blanco <br /> Counties. Such person, persons, family or <br /> families or their designated representatives <br /> shall present to the Director of Public Works or <br /> his designated representative a certificate <br /> verifying such qualification, which certificate <br /> shall be obtained from Co~nunity Action, Inc. of <br /> Hays, Caldwell and Blanco Counties prior to said <br /> owner's application for such permit or permits. <br /> Section 30-45. Computation of Living Unit <br /> Equivalents for Various <br /> Permitted Uses. <br /> LUE= LUE for type of use times number of <br /> units in development. <br /> 1. The following schedule shall be used in <br /> determining the LUE for the uses specified: <br /> TYPE OF USE LUE PER UNIT OF <br /> DEVELOPMENT <br /> (a) Residential 1 LUE/Dwelling Unit <br /> (b) Hotel/Motels .25 LUE/Room <br /> (c) Hotel/Motels with .25 LUE/Room plus .003 <br /> Restaurant LUE/sq ft of bldg in <br /> and/or Bar restaurant and/or bar plus <br /> annual fee for <br /> restaurant/bar as provided <br /> in (5) of this section <br /> (d) Hospitals .57 LUE/Bed <br /> (e) Restaurant/Bar .003 LUE/sq ft of bldg <br /> plus LUE annual fee <br /> calculated as follows: <br /> The factor for restaurants will be considered an <br /> initial fee to establish a usage base. An <br /> additional annual fee will be charged every January <br /> 15, for additional capacity used above the usage <br /> base calculated using the following formula: <br />
