37 ORDINANCE 1984-88 AN ORDINANCE OF 'IRE CITY COUNCI L OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE MASTER PLAN OF SAID CITY 10 ADD SUBSECTION D, IMPLEMENTING 'IRE LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE MASTER PLAN, 10 SECTION IV, LAND USE, AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas, adopted a Master Plan for said City on May 9, 1983; and, WHEREAS, specific linplementation mechanisms are required to reach the goals adopted in said Master Plan; and, WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Corrmissions have recommended that the implerœnta tion procedures for the Land Use Elerœnt of the Master Plan as shown in Attachment 1 hereto, Implementing The Land Use Elerœnt Of The Master Plan, which is incorporated herein for all purposes, should be adopted as part of the Master Plan; and, WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on the proposed Master plan Amendrœnt on September 24, 1984; now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY 'IRE CITY COUNCIL OF 'IRE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS. SECTION 1. That the Master Plan for the Ci ty of San Marcos, Texas, is hereby arœnded to add Subsection D, Implerœnting The Land Use Element Of The Master Plan, to Section IV, Land Use, as shown on Attachrœnt 1, which is incorporated herein for all intents and purposes, and the same is hereby adopted and shall henceforth be a part of said Master Plan. SECTION 2. That this Ordinance shall be in effect ten (10) days from and after its passage and after its publication in a newspaper of general circulation in the area.
