<br />Section 34-8. Conflict with other ordinances. <br />All ordinances or parts of ordinances inconsistent with <br />the terms of this Chapter are hereby repealed; provided, <br />however, that such repeal shall be only to the extent of <br />such inconsistency, and in all other respects this Chapter <br />shall be cumulative of other ordinances regulating <br />and governing the subject matters covered by this <br />Chapter. <br />Section 34-9. Separability clause. <br /> If any section, clause, paragraph, sentence or phrase <br />of this Chapter shall for any reason be held to be invalid <br />or unconstitutional, such invalid section, clause, <br />paragraph, sentence or phrase is hereby declared to be <br />severable, and any such invalid or unconstitutional <br />section, clause, paragraph, sentence or phrase shall in no <br />way affect the remainder of this Chapter, and it is hereby <br />declared to be the intention of the City Council that the <br />remainder of this Chapter would have been passed <br />notwithstanding the invalidity or unconstitutionality of <br />any section, clause, paragraph, sentence or phrase thereof. <br />SECTION 2. That this Ordinance shall be in effect ten (10) days <br />from and after its passage and after its publication in a newspaper of <br />general circulation in the area. <br />PASSED AND APPROVED on first reading September 10, 1984. <br />PASSED AND APffiOVED on second reading September 13, 1984. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED s~' 1984. <br /> Emmie Craddock <br /> Mayor <br />K.
