114 Special Meeting April 29, 1985 Page 2 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS AMENDING ORDINANCE 1984-86 ADOPTED SEPTEMBER 13,1984 WHICH SET FORTH AN ITEMIZED ESTIM- ATE OF THE EXPENSE OF CONDUCTING EACH ADMINISTRATIVE UNIT OF THE MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT OF SAID CITY FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 1984 AND ENDING ON SEPTEMBER 30, 1985, AND APPROPRIATED MONEY FOR THE VARIOUS FUNDS AND PURPOSES OF SUCH ESTIMATE; TO RE- VISE SAID ESTIMATES AND TO REAPPROPRIATE SAID FUNDS; ADOPTING SAID REVISIONS AND ESTIMATES; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Mayor Craddock moved to approve the Ordinance on first reading and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion. The Council went through the at- tached exhibit by line item asking the need for the requests. The Council unanimously approved the Ordinance on first reading. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of an amendment to the above budget amendment Ordinance for $4,000.00 for the San Mar- cos Area Food Bank. Mayor Craddock moved for approval for the $4,000.00 request to be included in the Ordinance at second reading and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of an amendment to the above budget amendment Ordinance for the purchase of furniture from Klipples. Sita Klipple reviewed with the Council some suggestions for better office space utilization. The Council did not request this matter be included as an amendment to the above Ordinance but stated they would review the matter prior to the next scheduled meeting (May 6, 1985). Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of an amendment to the above budget amendment Ordinance of a proposal for repair and renovation of a portion of the San Marcos River Bank. After a review of the matter with Rodney Cobb, the Council directed this amendment be included in the above budget amendment Ordinance at second reading. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of an amendment to the above budget amendment Ordinance for repair of the roof on the City Recreation Hall. The Council directed this amendment be included in the above budget amendment Ordinance at second reading. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration the adoption of four Ordin- ances on third and final reading by consensus. Mayor Craddock moved for adoption of the four Ordinances on third and final reading by con- sensus and Mr. Guerra seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.
