<br /> 100 <br /> DEED GRANTING EASEMENT <br />THE STATE OF TEXAS <br /> KNOW ALL PERSONS BY THESE <br /> PRESENTS: <br />THE COUNTY OF CALDWELL <br /> THAT the undersigned, the City of San Marcos, a municipal <br />corporation located in Hays County, Texas, and existing by and under <br />authority of the State of Texas, acting through authority conferred on <br />its Mayor, Emmie Craddock, by Resolution duly enacted November 5 , <br />1984, hereinafter called Grantor, for and in consideration of the sum <br />of TEN DOLLARS ($10.00), in hand paid by PEDERNALES ELECTRIC <br />COOPERATIVE, INC., a corporation existing under and by virtue of the <br />laws of the State of Texas, whose address is Post Office Box 467, <br />Johnson City, Texas, 78636, hereinafter called Grantee, the receipt of <br />which is hereby acknowledged, has granted, sold, and conveyed and by <br />these presents does her eby grant, sell and convey unto the said <br />Grantee, its successors and assigns, the permanent right to enter upon <br />the following described premises of Grantor for the purpose of placing, <br />constructing, installing, operating, repairing, maintaining, relocating <br />and replacing thereon and in or upon all streets, roads, or highways <br />abutting said described premises electric utility lines, which easement <br />shall be upon, over and through those lands of the Grantor upon which <br />is located the San Marcos Municipal Airport, lying and being si tua ted <br />in Caldwell County, Texas, said right of way easement premises being <br />more particularly described by metes and bounds as follows, to-wit: <br /> A centerline for the granting of an easement for the construction <br /> and maintenance of an electric utility line located within the <br /> boundaries of the Airport of the City of San Marcos, and within <br /> the William Pettus Survey, Caldwell County, Texas; the location of <br /> this centerline is described in the following paragraphs. The <br /> strip subj ect to this easement shall be 30.00 feet wide and shall <br /> be 15.00 feet on each side of the said centerline. <br /> Bearings are based on the centerline bearing of State Highway No. <br /> 21 as shown on the right of way map of the Texas Highway <br /> Department dated March 1937, as the centerline was found marked on <br /> the ground between stations 129+53 and 158+10. <br />
