102 RESOLUTION 1984-101R A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING FINAL PAYMENT TO K-W CONSTRUCTION, INC. FOR CON- STRUCTION OF IMPROVEMENTS TO THE POLICE AND COURTS BUILDING IN SAID CITY; ACCEPTING SAID IMPROVEMENTS FOR USE BY SAID CITY; AUTHORIZING FINAL PAYMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF $3,212.00; AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CERTIFICATE OF SUBSTANTIAL COMPLETION AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City of San Marcos, Texas has engaged the services of K-W Construction, Inc. for construction of im- provements to the Police and Courts Building in said City; and, WHEREAS, said services were provided pursuant to a contract between the City of San Marcos, Texas and K-W Construction, Inc. entered into on August 27, 1984; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: PART 1. That the construction of improvements to the Police and Courts Building in said City has been completed in substantial compliance with that contract of August 27, 1984 between said City and K-W Construction, Inc., and said improvements are hereby accepted for use by the City of San Marcos, Texas. PART 2. That final payment in the amount of $3,212.00 to K-W Construction, Inc. in full and final payment for said services is hereby authorized. PART 3. That the .layor of said City be, and she is here- by, authorized to execute a Certificate Of Substantial Comple- tion, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated here- in for all purposes, on behalf of said City.
