1 MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, MAY 6, 1985 PRESENT: Mayor Emmie Craddock Council Members * Karl W. Brown Bill Coddington Gerald G. Herrera Assistant City Attorney Joan Kennerly Director of Public Works George Boeker Director of Finance Nora Chavez Director of Planning Frank Robbins Director of Env. and Engineering Steve Jenkins Police Chief Myron Galchutt Director of Personnel Carolyn Liner Also Present: Melissa Millecam, Mark Hendricks, Terry Colley, Gwen Smith, Lunelle Anderson, Floyd MacKenzie, Mrs. Floyd MacKenzie, Jean Dorbandt, Pud Rutledge, Ralph Ramirez, Albert Sierra, Dan Gibson, Shirley Wickersham, Gregg Echols, Russell Scott, Betty Stansbury, Sitha Klipple and others. Mayor Craddock called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of the minutes of the Regular Meeting held April 22, 1985. Ms. Kissler moved for approval and Mr. Farr seconded the motion. On roll call the following vote was recorded: AYE: Coddington, Farr, Craddock, Kissler, Nicola. NAY: None. ABSTAIN: Guerra. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of the minutes of the Special Meeting held April 29, 1985. Mr. Guerra moved for approval and Mr. Coddington seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of one appointment to the Building Code Board of Adjustments and Appeals to complete the vacancy of Mark Palmer. Mayor Craddock moved to appoint Ted Breihan and Mr. Coddington seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of an appointment to complete the vacancy of George VonderLippe on the Sunset Advisory Commission. Joan Kennerly advised the Council the Sunset Advisory Commission asked that no one be appointed to the Commission to com- plete the vacancy. Mayor Craddock moved this matter be tabled and Mr. Coddington seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. * Mr. Brown was not present at this meeting. ** Mr. Hankins was present at 7:55 p.m.
