Receive a Staff presentation and hold discussion regarding Multifamily Design <br />Standards, and provide direction to Staff. <br />John Foreman, Planning Manager, provided the Council with a brief presentation regarding <br />Multifamily Design Standards and provided the Council with what Staff had analyzed and compiled a <br />list of potential standards, and the proposed timeline in which Staff will be bringing back the revised <br />design standards. <br />25. Receive an update regarding the Land Development Code Revisions (Code SMTX), <br />and provide direction to Staff. <br />John Foreman, Planning Manager, provided the Council with a brief presentation regarding the Land <br />Development Code Revisions (Code SMTX). Following discussion the Council reached a consensus <br />on the proposed committee composition and that the members do not have to be residents, but do <br />have to have a "vested" interest in San Marcos. <br />26. Receive a Staff presentation and hold discussion regarding a potential downtown <br />business and artist incubator program called "Switchboard," and provide direction to <br />Staff. <br />A motion was made by Mayor Guerrero, seconded by Council Member Scott, to postpone this item <br />and allow it to be vetted through the budget process. The motion carried by the following vote: <br />For: 7 - Mayor Guerrero, Deputy Mayor Pro Tern Becak, Council Member Prather and Council <br />Member Prewitt, Mayor Pro Tern Thomaides, Council Member Scott, and Council Member Thomason <br />Against: 0 <br />VI.
