55 MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, JUNE 10, 1985 PRESENT: Mayor Emmie Craddock Council Members * Karl W. Brown Bill Coddington Gerald G. Mayor Craddock called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of the minutes of the Regular Meeting held May 20, 1985. Mr. Guerra moved for approv- al and Mr. Coddington seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of the minutes of the City Council and Civil Service Commission Emergency Meeting of May 23, 1985. Mr. Farr moved to approve the minutes and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion. On roll call the following vote was recorded: AYE: Farr, Craddock, Kissler, Nicola. NAY: None. ABSTAIN: Coddington, Guerra. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of the minutes of the Emergency Meeting of the City Council on May 23, 1985. Ms. Kissler moved for approval of the minutes and Mr. Guerra seconded the motion. On roll call the following vote was recorded: AYE: Farr, Craddock, Guerra, Kissler, Nicola. NAY: None. ABSTAIN: Coddington. Mayor Craddock introduced a public hearing to receive public input to assist the City Council in formulating a Policy Statement to be used by the City Manager as direction during the preparation of the City Manager's proposed budget for the fiscal year October, 1985-September, 1986. Mayor Craddock opened the public hearing. Dr. Frank Rich stated the Greater San Marcos Neighborhood Association wanted the City to fund a facility for the elderly, recreation for the youth and a meeting place for the general public. No others wished to offer input for the Council's Policy Statement, so Mayor Craddock closed the public hearing. * Mr. Brown was not present at this meeting.
