Consider approval of Ordinance 2014 -16, on the second of two readings, amending <br />the Official Zoning Map of the City by rezoning approximately 143 acres of land <br />comprised of a 50.003 acre, more or less, tract of land and a 54.968 acre, more or <br />less, tract of land, each out of the William Ward Survey No. 3, Abstract No. 467, <br />Hays County, Texas, and Lots 5A, 6 -16 and 23 -25 of the Champions Business Park <br />Subdivision, Hays County, Texas, located at IH -35, Premier Parkway, Paramount <br />Circle and Post Road, from "FD" Future Development District to "GC" General <br />Commercial District; and including procedural provisions. <br />6. Consider approval of Ordinance 2014 -17, on the second of two readings, <br />amending Section 2.069 Absence from Meetings of the San Marcos City Code; <br />including procedural provisions; and providing an effective date. <br />7. Consider approval of Ordinance 2014 -18, on the second of two readings, amending <br />Section 2.067 of the San Marcos City Code to permit a person to be appointed to the <br />Comprehensive Plan Oversight Committee; including procedural provisions; and <br />declaring an effective date. <br />8. Consider approval of Resolution 2014 -43R approving an agreement between the City <br />and K. Friese & Associates, Inc., for the provision of professional services in <br />connection with the North L.B.J. and Oakridge Utility Improvements Project in an <br />amount not to exceed $426,517.00 contingent upon the engineer's provision of <br />sufficient insurance in accordance with the attached agreement; authorizing the City <br />Manager or his designee to execute this agreement on behalf of the City; and <br />declaring an effective date. <br />9. Consider approval of Resolution 2014 -44R rejecting all bids submitted for the <br />provision of cut and mulch services (IFB 214 -005) for the Community Services <br />Department -Parks and Recreation Division; and declaring an effective date. <br />10. Consider approval of Resolution 2014 -45R directing publication of Notice of <br />Intention to issue Certificates of Obligation; and other matters related thereto. <br />11.
