<br /> Sec. 12-l1. Bulky waste and bundles- collection <br /> from residential units. <br /> Persons desiring collection of bulky waste and/or <br /> bundles from a residential unit shall place said <br /> bulky waste and bundles as required by Section 12-5. <br /> Sec. 12-12. Disposal of dead animals. <br /> Dead animals shall be placed in a plastic bag <br /> and suitably sealed to prevent flies or contribution <br /> to other health hazards. <br /> Sec. 12-13. Disposal of commercial refuse, industrial <br /> refuse, construction debris, stable <br /> matter, hazardous waste and dead animals. <br /> All commercial refuse, industrial refuse, <br /> construction debris, stable matter, hazardous waste <br /> and dead animals or portions thereof equal to or <br /> greater than 40 Ibs. in weight shall be disposed <br /> of by the owner or possessor thereof, at his/her <br /> own expense; provided, however, that this section <br /> shall not apply to animals slaughtered or killed <br /> for human use. <br /> Sec. 12-14. Burning prohibited. <br /> No person shall burn refuse within the city limits. <br /> Sec. 12-15. Deposit. <br /> The following amounts shall be paid by persons <br /> and/or establishments requesting garbage and rubbish <br /> collection at a residential unit. <br /> a. For garbage and rubbish collection <br /> at a single-family residence: Thirty- <br /> five dollars ($35.00). <br /> b. For garbage and rubbish collection <br /> at a duplex, triplex or fourplex: <br /> Forty Dollars ($40.00)or one and one- <br /> half (1 1/2) times the monthly bill, <br /> whichever amount is greater. <br /> SECTION 2. That a person, firm, or corporation violating <br /> any provision of this Ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, <br /> and shall be deemed guilty of a separate offense for each day <br /> or portion thereof during which any violation hereof is committed, <br /> continues, or is permitted, and upon conviction of any such <br /> violation shall be punished by a fine not to exceed two hundred <br /> dollars ($200.00). <br /> SECTION 3. That if any section, subsection, sentence, <br /> clause, phrase or portion of this Ordinance is for any reason <br /> held invalid or unconstitutional by any court of competent <br /> jurisdiction, such portion shall be deemed a separate, distinct <br /> and independent provision and such holding shall not affect the <br /> validity of the remaining portions thereof. <br /> SECTION 4. That this Ordinance shall be effective June <br /> 1,1983 provided it shall have been published in a newspaper <br /> of general circulation in the area. <br />
