THENCE, in a Northwesterly direction to the most Northerly Northwest corner of the said State of Texas 188.958 acre tract, same being on the South bank of the San Marcos River, for the most Northerly West corner of the tract herein described; THENCE, in a Southeasterly direction with the South and West bank of the said San Marcos River, the North- east lines of the said State of Texas 188.958 acre tract, to the East corner of the tract herein described, same being on a Northwest line of that 38 acre tract of land conveyed to Rosemary W. McTaggart by deed dated December l5, 1968 and recorded in Volume 221, Page 230, Hays County Deed Records; THENCE, leaving the said San Marcos River with the Southeast line of the said State of Texas 188.958 acre tract, in a Southwesterly direction, crossing the aforementioned State Highway 621, and continuing on to the POINT OF BEGINNING containing 189 acres of land, more or less. be, and the same is hereby, annexed to the City of San Marcos, Texas. SECTION 2. That the Service Plan for said area, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein for all in- tents and purposes, be, and the same is hereby, approved. SECTION 3. That the corporate limits of said City be, and the same are hereby, extended to include said described territory. SECTION 4. That said described territory shall henceforth be a part of the City of San Marcos, Texas, and any inhabitants thereof shall be entitled to all the rights and privileges of all citizens, and shall be bound by the acts, ordinances, resolu- tions and regulations of said City. SECTION 5. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days from and after final passage and publication in a newspaper of general circulation.
