Training - The Department of Public Safety puts on a three day school <br /> for police dispatchers. There is no charge for this school. Workman's Compensation - The cost for three reserve dispatchers for <br /> the remaining fiscal budget is $9.98. <br /> 3. Salary - The Reserve Dispatcher/Natrons:> vlhen required to \'lOrk more <br /> than their voluntary sixteen (16) hours per month:> would be paid <br /> $4.75 per hour. The present minimum overtime pay for dispatchers <br /> is $7.85 per hour:> \'/hile minimum overtime pay for police officers is <br /> $lQ.Q~per hour. The Communications Section currently has a <br /> I:>alance of $4:>222.41 in their overtime budget. By subtracting the <br /> volunteer time of 240 hours for the reserves (16 hrs x 3 reserves x <br /> 5 monthsl. from the projected 545 overtine hours will leave 305 hours <br /> of pai.d. reserve time.
