<br /> 2. Bars and nightclubs in accordance with <br /> the adopted ordinances of the City of <br /> San Marcos r~ring a conditional use <br /> permit. <br /> SECTION 30. That Section 20(B) of Appendix A of the Code <br /> of Ordinances, City of San Marcos, Texas is hereby amended to <br /> read as follows: <br /> Section 20(B) <br /> B. Specific uses (require use permits) (See <br /> section 22): <br /> 1. A specific use permit shall be required <br /> and approved by the Zoning Commission <br /> and the governing body of the City of San <br /> Marcos for any industrial usage classified <br /> as being "high hazard" occupancy which is <br /> intended to involve usage of high combustible, <br /> flammable or explosive materials. <br /> 2. A specific use permit shall be required <br /> for the erection of any industrial plant <br /> and approved by the governing body and <br /> the Zoning Commission of the City of San <br /> Marcos for any industrial use which shall <br /> be noxious or offensive by reason of emission <br /> of odors, soot, dust, noise, gas fumes or <br /> vibrations. <br /> 3. Planned shopping center. <br /> 4. Planned industrial park. <br /> SECTION 31. That Section 20(C) of Appendix A of the <br /> Code of Ordinances, City of San Marcos, Texas, is hereby amended <br /> to read as follows: <br /> Section 20(C) <br /> C. Prohibited uses: <br /> 1. Those uses, which in the opinion of the <br /> Zoning Commission and/or City Council <br /> would be detrimental to the health, safety <br /> or general welfare of the citizens of <br /> San Marcos or to adjacent development. <br /> 2. Any use of property that does not meet <br /> the required minimum lot size; front, <br /> side and rear yard dimension; and/or lot <br /> width; or exceeds the maximum height, <br /> building coverage or density per gross acre <br /> as required. <br /> SECTION 32. That Section 21(C) of Appendix A of the Code <br /> of Ordinances, City of San Marcos, Texas, is hereby amended to <br /> read as follows: <br /> Section 21(C) <br /> C. Prohibited uses: <br /> 1. Any building erected or land used for other <br /> than the use shown on the planned unit <br /> development plan, as approved by the Zoning <br /> Commission, and as recorded with the Chief <br /> Building Inspector. <br /> 2. Any use of property that does not meet the <br /> required minimum lot size; front, side and <br /> rear yard dimension; and/or lot width; or <br /> -14- <br />
