the plat, utility layout and environmental assessment statement within fifteen (15) days of their submission for the purpose of determining their conformity with this or- dinance and applicable city standards, giving consideration to sound engineering practices and design criteria. Two (2) copies of the environmental assessment statement shall be transmitted to the Director of Planning. Upon the completion of the review of the preliminary plat, utility layout, and environmental assess- ment statement the öirector of ~lanning shall transmit said plat, plans and environmental assessment statement to the Commission; or he shall note his and all other objections to said plat, plans and statement in a written memorandum and transmit the said memorandum, plat, plans and statement to the Commission, within twenty-five (25) days of the submission of the plat, utility layout and environmental assessment statement. (b) In cases where the preliminary plat, utility lay- out or environmental assessment statement is given a negative recommendation by the ~lanning Commission the developer may withdraw and refile a corrected preliminary plat, utility layout and environmental assessment statementwiththe Director of ~lanning for reconsideration by the Planning Commission. SECTION 6. That Section E of Article V of Appendix C of the Code of Ordinances, City of San Marcos, Texas, is here- by amended to read as follows: Section E. Final plat, construction plans. Within the period of Commission approval of the subdivision master plan or preliminary plat, the subdivider shall cause to be prepared a final plat and construction plans of that land platted in the subdivision master plan or preliminary plat, and incorporating any and all changes, modifications, alterations, corrections, and conditions imposed by the Commission in approving the subdivision master plan or preliminary plat. The City Planning Commission with the concurrence and approval of the City Council, shall determine and set forth a fee schedule for the purpose of recovering admin- istrative costs of processing. SECTION 7. That Section E(e) (9) of Article V of Appendix C of the Code of Ordinances, City of San Marcos, Texas, is hereby amended to read as follows: Section E (e) (9) ( 9) Certificate of approval and acceptance by San Marcos Planning Commission (to be placed on plat as follows): Approved this the day of ,19 , by the Planning Commission of the City of San Marcos, Texas.
