149 STATE OF TEXAS CONTRACT FOR CEMETERY MAINTENANCE SERVICES COUNTY OF HAYS KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: That the City of San Marcos, Texas, a municipal corporation by and under the laws of the State of Texas, hereinafter referred to as "City", acting by and through authority of its Mayor, Emmie Craddock, by resolu~on ll~~t ena~ °Q September 26,1983md Gene Baqwell d/b/a Gene ~elna eeranre err~~o' as "Contractor", do hereby enter into this agreement for the purpose of providing maintenance at the San Marcos Cemetery located on Ranch Road 12 within the corporate limits of the City of San Marcos, pursuant to the terms and conditions expressed herein: I. This agreement shall be in effect for a term of one (1) year beginning on October 1, 1983, and ending September 30, 1984; provided, however, that City shall have the right to renew this agreement for a further term of one year at the end of such term said additional term to end September 30, 1985. If City desires to exercise said option City shall give written notice of said exercise to Contractor by September 15, 1984, at the address Contractor has provided for the payments described in paragraph II of this agreement.
