<br /> 149 <br /> STATE OF TEXAS <br /> CONTRACT FOR CEMETERY <br /> MAINTENANCE SERVICES <br /> COUNTY OF HAYS <br /> KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: <br /> That the City of San Marcos, Texas, a municipal corporation <br /> by and under the laws of the State of Texas, hereinafter <br /> referred to as "City", acting by and through authority of its <br /> Mayor, Emmie Craddock, by resolu~on ll~~t ena~ °Q <br /> September 26,1983md Gene Baqwell d/b/a Gene ~elna eeranre err~~o' <br /> as "Contractor", do hereby enter into this agreement for the <br /> purpose of providing maintenance at the San Marcos Cemetery <br /> located on Ranch Road 12 within the corporate limits of the City <br /> of San Marcos, pursuant to the terms and conditions expressed <br /> herein: <br /> I. <br /> This agreement shall be in effect for a term of one (1) <br /> year beginning on October 1, 1983, and ending September 30, <br /> 1984; provided, however, that City shall have the right to renew <br /> this agreement for a further term of one year at the end of such <br /> term said additional term to end September 30, 1985. If City <br /> desires to exercise said option City shall give written notice <br /> of said exercise to Contractor by September 15, 1984, at the <br /> address Contractor has provided for the payments described in <br /> paragraph II of this agreement. <br /> II. <br /> The consideration to be paid by City to Contractor for the <br /> performance by Contractor of this agreement is the sum of <br /> !~rty and nó/IOO-l- . d . d . <br /> Forty-Five Thousand Fivp Hllnr1red 45 540 g~------ .
