<br /> -3- <br /> C. Grave plots and curb parameters are to be located and <br /> corners marked by Contractor as needed by City. The <br /> method of reaching Contractor (whether by telephone, <br /> radio, walkie-talkie, etc.) will be named by <br /> Contractor at award of bid. Response time for <br /> requests made by the City, on marking of gravesites <br /> and curb parameters, will be no greater than one ( 1) <br /> hour. <br /> D. Showing Lots for Sale-- Contractor shall be <br /> responsible for showing cemetery lots for sale to <br /> citizens visiting the Cemetery. The map of available <br /> lots will be provided the Contractor by City within <br /> one ( 1) week of award of contract. The measure of <br /> performance by Contractor will be based on citizen <br /> response. <br /> E. Clearing Gravesites-- Gravesites, where funeral <br /> services have been held, are to be cleared once per <br /> month of rocks and other debris, and topsoil is to be <br /> placed on the grave. <br /> F. Clearing Dead Vegetation-- Fallen trees or tree limbs, <br /> dead vegetation and dead flowers are to be removed <br /> within two ( 2) weeks of their occurrence. <br /> G. Clearing Live Vegetation-- All small trees, overgrown <br /> shrubs or other plant material which germinates or is <br /> currently growing near headstones, curbs or other <br /> objects that could be damaged, shall be removed. Any <br /> small trees, overgrown shrubs or other plants which <br /> encroach on surrounding cemetery lots shall be cut <br /> back. <br /> H. Mausoleum Care-- Mausoleum care shall include sweeping <br /> out the building before services take place and <br /> destroying any wasp or other insects' nests inside the <br /> building. <br /> 1. Weeds-- Weeds in gravel on gravesites shall be <br /> destroyed by use of herbicides. Weed height shall not <br /> be allowed to exceed three (3) inches. <br /> J. Brush-- All brush cut by the Contractor will be piled <br /> up until it can be removed by Contractor from the <br /> cemetery. This shall be done within two (2) weeks of <br /> cutting. <br /> K. Flying Flag-- A united States flag will be raised on <br /> the days listed below (weather permi tting) : <br />
