<br />54 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Regular Meeting September 9, 1985 Page 8 <br /> <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration authorization to bid waste- <br />water improvements for rehabilitation of wastewater collection system <br />in Fairlawn and Springlake Hills, construction of main lift station <br />and force main (EPA funded). Mr. Farr moved for authorization to <br />bid and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval for $1,500.00 <br />from contingency funds to Lamar Hankins, City Attorney, for reimburse- <br />ment of moving expenses from Bryan to San Marcos. Ms. Kissler moved <br />for approval and Mr. Nicola seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of the Council <br />Aide position. Mr. Coddington moved for approval and read a memorandum <br />into the record of his reasons why this position was needed, a copy of <br />which is attached to these minutes. There was no second and the motion <br />failed. Mr. Farr then moved the Council Aide position not be funded at <br />this time and Mr. Guerra seconded the motion. On roll call the following <br />vote was recorded: <br /> <br />AYE: Brown, Farr, Craddock, Guerra, Kissler, Nicola. <br /> <br />NAY: Coddington. <br /> <br />ABSTAIN: None. <br /> <br />Mr. Guerra moved the Council adjourn into Executive Session pursuant <br />to Article 6252-17, §§2(e)and (g), V.A.C.S., to discuss matters where <br />the duties of the City Attorney to the City pursuant to the Code of <br />Professional Responsibility of the State Bar of Texas clearly con- <br />flicts with Article 6252-17; appointment and reassignment of a public <br />officer or employee and complaints or charges against a public officer <br />or employee, respectively.
